Raced the 2018 Army Ten Miler. Finish time not included in initial results–working with timing company to resolve. We had 57:18 as our finish time. Hopefully results will be updated but if not then we will return next year to try to run faster. Conditions: 72 degrees at start, overcast skies, high humidity, low wind. Race went off without issues; definitely a top-tier competitive event. We went out with the 5:30 min/mile pace group and had a nice pack of competitors to run with; unfortunately we couldn’t finish the race as strongly as we started. A lot of positive experiences and lessons learned from the race–looking forward to some rest and recovery as we plan out our upcoming year to hopefully peak for this race again next year.
