| Notes: Lou Cox is the Ohio River Road Runners Club’s premier event and has a history of producing the fastest road 5K times in the area. The race begins on Edwin C. Moses Blvd. and finishes on the track inside Welcome Stadium. The course is a simple out-and-back with the turn near Carillon Park. With prize money offered to the top Ohio runners and an additional cash bonus for course records (14:33 male / 16:42 female), this race is sure to attract a large portion of the top local and regional talent. |
Because of the race we won’t be offering a traditional long run on Saturday, however we will be getting together for some miles to keep the engine warm and the ball rolling towards bigger goals this fall. Below is our plan for this Saturday.

| Pace: Relaxed (7:30 average) |
| Notes: We are timing this run to coincide with A Special Wish’s Superhero Donut Run so that we can cheer on our friends running in the 5K/10K event. We will also be looking for spare donuts that may be available. Winner will receive 624 free donuts (1 Dozen each week for 1 Year) – a legendary prize worthy of great bragging rights! |
