Matt Lemon – Dayton, Ohio
Matt ran 2:19:14 at the 2019 Indianapolis Monumental Marathon narrowly missing the Olympic Trials standard. He followed that by winning Dave’s Turkey Chase 5K in Toledo (14:34), and then ran the 2020 Houston Marathon in 2:24:33. He’s run a 1:10 half marathon pushing a baby stroller, and has a half marathon PR of 1:06:16. Recently he ran 31:21 at the Minster Oktoberfest 10K and finished 3rd in the Old Glory Invitational Marathon in 2:27:17. Matt talks about 10 years of post-collegiate running and how he balances training along with his wife, elite marathoner Maura Lemon, and their two kids.
